Biography

Bryan Brown is an Australian actor with a career in film and television spanning from the late 1970s. He has appeared in more than eighty productions, both in Australia and abroad. Among his notable film roles are those in *Breaker Morant* (1980), *Give My Regards to Broad Street* (1984), *F/X* (1986), *Cocktail* (1988), *Gorillas in the Mist* (1988), and *Along Came Polly* (2004). Brown received critical attention for his role in the television miniseries *The Thorn Birds* (1983), for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award. His filmography spans a variety of genres, reflecting his range as an actor.
