Biography

Carloto Cotta is a Portuguese actor, musician, and animal philanthropist known for his diverse roles in film. He gained critical acclaim for his portrayal of Diamantino Matamouros in *Diamantino* (2018), for which he won the best actor award at the 2019 Portuguese Golden Globes. Cotta also appeared in *Tabu* (2012), where he played the role of Young Ventura, and in *The Tsugua Diaries* (2021), in which he portrayed a character named Carloto.
