Biography
María del Carmen Aristegui Flores is a Mexican journalist and news anchor known for her investigative reporting and critical perspective on the Mexican government. She hosts the news program *Aristegui* on CNN en Español and contributes to the opinion section of *Reforma*. In March 2015, she was dismissed from MVS Radio 102.5 FM in Mexico City after reporting on alleged conflicts of interest involving then-President Enrique Peña Nieto and a state contractor linked to the construction of a luxury residence for his family. She continues her journalistic work through her own news website and an online morning newscast, which is also aired on Grupo Radio Centro's XERC-FM.
