Biography

Catalina Sandino Moreno is a Colombian actress who gained widespread recognition for her role in *Maria Full of Grace* (2004). In the film, she plays the title character, a young woman who becomes an unwilling participant in the drug trade. Her performance received critical praise, earning her the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the Berlin International Film Festival and a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress.
