Biography

Catherine Breillat is a French filmmaker, novelist, and academic known for her work in cinema. She has directed a variety of films that often explore themes of sexuality, power, and relationships. In addition to her work in film, Breillat has written novels and contributed to the academic study of cinema. She holds the position of professor of cinema at the European Graduate School, where she shares her expertise with students.
