Biography
Catherine Demongeot is a French former child actress best known for her debut role as Zazie in the 1960 film *Zazie dans le Métro*. Following this role, she appeared in only a few more films. According to an interview with Vincent Malle for the UK DVD release of *Zazie*, Demongeot did not pursue further acting roles and instead became a teacher.
