Biography
Shane Porteous (born 17 August 1942) is an Australian actor, screenwriter, animation layout artist, and animation voice artist. As a screenwriter, he is sometimes credited under the name "John Hanlon." He is best known for his role in the TV series *A Country Practice*, in which he portrayed Dr. Terence Elliot.
