Biography

Charlie Burchill is a Scottish musician and composer best known as the guitarist for the rock band Simple Minds. A founding member, he has been a consistent presence in the group, remaining one of the only original members still performing with the band. Burchill has shared a long-standing musical partnership with lead singer Jim Kerr, dating back to their school days. While primarily recognized for his guitar work, he is also a multi-instrumentalist, proficient in playing keyboards, saxophone, and violin.
