Biography
Charles Lafayette King III was an American sound mixer and film editor. He was the son of actor Charles Lafayette King Jr., also known as Charles or Charlie King, who appeared in numerous films from 1919 to 1950.
King III was shot and killed by an intruder in his Hollywood apartment just before midnight on June 29, 1990. At the time of his death, he had retired from the film industry and was training to become the apartment manager at the complex where he lived.
