Biography

Chiwetel Ejiofor is a British actor who has worked in film, television, and theater. He has won a British Academy Film Award and a Laurence Olivier Award, and has been nominated for an Academy Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and five Golden Globe Awards. In recognition of his contributions to the arts, he was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2008 and later advanced to Commander (CBE) in 2015.
