Biography

Chris Anderson was born and raised in Whitby, North Yorkshire. His mother worked as a nurse at the local hospital and his father was a baker. As a teenager he attended the National Youth Theatre and began studying acting at Manchester School of Theatre in 2001.

Anderson’s performing background includes stage work at the National Theatre, radio dramas for the BBC, fifteen international commercials and roles in award‑winning short films. On television he is best known for playing the Chorister in the Doctor Who episode “The Rings of Akhaten” opposite Matt Smith and Emilia Jones. He is an experienced voice‑over artist who has recorded hundreds of spots, including national advertising campaigns for Sky, Jaguar, VW and Trivago. His video‑game credits include Total War: Warhammer II and Arena. Anderson has narrated documentaries for the History Channel and Channel 5 and has dubbed numerous foreign‑language films and TV series for Amazon.
