Biography

Christopher Thomas Allen, professionally known as Chris Cross, was an English musician best known as the bass guitarist for the new wave band Ultravox. He began his music career with the Preston-based band Stoned Rose before co-founding Tiger Lily in April 1974. The band later evolved and was renamed Ultravox! in the late 1970s. Ultravox! achieved significant success, particularly with their 1981 single "Vienna," which became their most popular and enduring hit.
