Biography

Chris Del Conte is an American college athletics administrator who has served as the athletic director at the University of Texas at Austin since 2017. Before this role, he held the same position at Rice University from 2006 to 2009 and at Texas Christian University (TCU) from 2009 to 2017. During his tenure at the University of Texas, the athletic department has been recognized as the nation's top performing, earning the NACDA Directors' Cup in the 2020–21, 2021–22, 2023–24, and 2024–25 seasons.
