Chrissy Metz is an American actress and singer known for her role as Kate Pearson in the television series *This Is Us* (2016–2022). Her performance earned her critical acclaim and nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award and two Golden Globe Awards. In addition to her television work, Metz has appeared in several films, including *Sierra Burgess Is a Loser* (2018), *Breakthrough* (2019), and *Faith in the Flames: The Nichole Jolly Story* (2025).
