Biography

Ciara Princess Wilson is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress who gained fame in the early 2000s after being discovered by record producer Jazze Pha. She rose to prominence with her debut studio album, *Goodies* (2004), which featured the chart-topping single "Goodies" and the Top 2 hits "1, 2 Step" and "Oh." The album was certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA and earned two Grammy Award nominations. Ciara also contributed to the success of other artists, including guest appearances on the 2005 hits "Lose Control" by Missy Elliott and "Like You" by Bow Wow, both of which reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
