Biography

Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley is an English actress best known for her role as Rey in the *Star Wars* sequel trilogy, which spanned from 2015 to 2019. After her breakout success in the franchise, she appeared in *Murder on the Orient Express* (2017) and portrayed Ophelia in the romantic drama *Ophelia* (2018). She also provided voice work in *Peter Rabbit* (2018) and the video game *Twelve Minutes* (2021). In the 2020s, Ridley took on leading roles in *Chaos Walking* (2021), *Sometimes I Think About Dying* (2023), and *The Marsh King's Daughter* (2023). She also starred in *Young Woman and the Sea* (2024), where she played Gertrude Ederle.
