Biography
David George MacDonald was an American racing driver known for his achievements in the early 1960s, particularly while driving Corvettes and Shelby Cobras. A skilled competitor in various motorsport events, MacDonald gained recognition for his performance in endurance and sports car racing. Tragically, his career was cut short when he died during the 1964 Indianapolis 500. He and fellow driver Eddie Sachs were killed in a crash during the race, marking a somber moment in motorsport history.
