Supergirl's Milly Alcock Reacts to Fortnite Skin
“Epic Games has partnered with DC and Warner Bros. to introduce Milly Alcock's Supergirl and her dog Krypto into Fortnite. Alcock expressed excitement about the in-game representation of her character, though she humorously predicted that Krypto might steal the spotlight. She also encouraged players to support her in-game performance. The Supergirl and Krypto skins are set to release later this week, coinciding with the theatrical release of the Supergirl movie on June 26. This follows the addition of a Superman skin based on David Corenswet's portrayal for the 2025 Superman film. Additionally, Fortnite is expanding The Simpsons' presence in the game with new UEFN support, allowing players to create custom maps and modes using officially licensed assets.”

Superman and Supergirl's First DCU Meeting
“In the DC Universe, Superman and Supergirl finally meet in a scene that is both endearing and slightly awkward. Due to the delayed arrival of Kara Zor-El's ship, Superman has lived many years on Earth before she arrives. The clip from the upcoming Supergirl movie shows Superman, played by David Corenswet, discovering Kara in her pod near the Fortress of Solitude. Despite a language barrier, Superman attempts to communicate with her and her superpowered dog, Krypto. The scene highlights their initial interaction, with Kara's confusion over Superman's attire and his guidance as her powers awaken. The film, set for release on June 26, will follow Kara's mission to save Krypto from a deadly fate.”

Biography
Perhaps best known for playing Superman in the DCU, David Packard Corenswet is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His parents, Caroline Packard and John Corenswet, were lawyers, and his father also worked as a stage actor in New York for many years. His grandfather, Edward Packard, is an author and the creator of the Choose Your Own Adventure book series. His father was from a Jewish family long-settled in New Orleans, Louisiana, and his mother was from a Quaker household. David graduated from the Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, before attending the University of Pennsylvania for a year, and then transferring to the Juilliard School in New York; there, he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drama in 2016. David played a student in the pilot episode, but the show was never ordered by USA Network. As his first film leading role after graduating from Julliard, he starred as Michael Lawson in Eric Bross's Affairs of State (2018). Corenswet then appeared in several guest roles in shows such as House of Cards (2013), Elementary (2012), and Instinct (2018).
