Biography
David Franzoni is a writer known for his work on *Gladiator*. He grew up in Vermont and attended the University of Vermont, where he studied geology and paleontology and co-founded a commercial film company. After completing a semester of graduate school, Franzoni left the program and moved to Berlin, where he purchased a motorcycle. He traveled through eastern and western Europe, Turkey, and Cyprus before continuing his journey by driving the motorcycle across the Middle East, India, Thailand, and the Malay Peninsula.
