Biography
David Mirkin, born September 18, 1955, is an American director, writer, and producer known for his work in feature films and television, particularly on *The Simpsons*. A native of Philadelphia, he is an alumnus of Loyola Marymount University. Mirkin has received multiple Emmy Awards as well as the Peabody Award.
