Biography
David Eli Ruffin was an American soul singer best known for his role as a lead vocalist with the Temptations during their "Classic Five" era from 1964 to 1968. He provided the lead voice on iconic songs such as "My Girl" and "Ain't Too Proud to Beg," which helped define the group's sound during their peak. After leaving the Temptations, Ruffin pursued a solo career and achieved success with two top 10 singles: "My Whole World Ended" and "Walk Away from Love."
