Delhi Ganesh, born Ganesan Mahadevan, was a prominent Indian actor known for his versatile performances in Tamil cinema and television serials. Primarily cast in supporting roles, he appeared in over 400 films during his extensive career. He was introduced to the Tamil film industry by director K. Balachander through the 1976 film *Pattina Pravesam*. K. Balachander also gave him the stage name "Delhi Ganesh."
