Delhi Ganesh, born Ganesan Mahadevan, was a well-known Indian actor recognized for his versatile performances in Tamil cinema and television serials. He was primarily cast in supporting roles and appeared in over 400 films throughout his long career. He was introduced to the Tamil film industry by director K. Balachander in the 1976 film *Pattina Pravesam*. K. Balachander also gave him the stage name "Delhi Ganesh." His performances earned him widespread recognition for his ability to portray a diverse range of characters.
