Dolly Parton is an American singer, songwriter, actress, philanthropist, and businesswoman known for her influential career in country music. After gaining recognition as a successful songwriter for other artists, she launched her solo career with her debut album, *Hello, I'm Dolly*, released in 1967. Over the course of six decades, Parton has released more than 50 studio albums and become one of the most celebrated figures in country music, earning the title "Queen of Country." She has received numerous awards, including eleven Grammy Awards, three Emmy Awards, six Golden Globe nominations, and a Tony Award. Parton was also honored with a humanitarian Academy Award in 2025.
