Biography

B. Rudrappa Vijay Kumar, professionally known as Duniya Vijay or Duniya Viji, is an Indian actor and film director prominent in Kannada cinema. He began his acting career with minor roles before gaining recognition with his performance in the 2007 film *Duniya*, for which he received his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor. Over the course of his career, Vijay has been honored with two Filmfare Awards, a Karnataka State Film Award, and a SIIMA Award.
