Biography

Ed Paschke was an American painter whose early interest in animation and cartoons, combined with his father's work in wood carving and construction, influenced his artistic development. He attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he encountered a variety of influential artists through the museum's special exhibitions. The works of Paul Gauguin, Pablo Picasso, and Georges Seurat had a notable impact on him during his early years as an artist.
