Biography

Edward LeSaint was an American stage and film actor and director whose career extended through the silent era and into later years. He appeared in more than 300 films and directed over 90. He was sometimes credited as Edward J. Le Saint. LeSaint was often cast in roles of authority, most notably as a judge, a character he portrayed in over 30 film appearances, both credited and uncredited.
