Biography

Elizabeth Hawthorne was a New Zealand actress known for her role as Mrs. Macready in the 2005 film *The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe* and for appearing in Peter Jackson's supernatural comedy *The Frighteners*. She also provided the voice of Hera in the recurring role on *Young Hercules* and portrayed Alcmene in the first season of its parent series *Hercules: The Legendary Journeys*. In 2004, she played Judge Harriet Caldwell in the TV movie *Raising Waylon*. She was married to Raymond Hawthorne and was the mother of Emmeline Hawthorne and the late Sophia Hawthorne.
