Biography

Ellen Leslye Cleghorne is an American actress and comedian best known for her time as a cast member on *Saturday Night Live* from 1991 to 1995. She was the second African-American female repertory cast member on the show, following Danitra Vance, and the first to remain for more than one season. Cleghorne returned for the show's 40th anniversary special in 2015. In 2007, *Rolling Stone* magazine ranked her as the 69th greatest *Saturday Night Live* cast member of all time.
