Eric Goode is an American entrepreneur, conservationist, and Emmy-nominated filmmaker known for his diverse business ventures and contributions to wildlife conservation. He founded the iconic art nightclub Area and developed several notable hospitality establishments, including the Bowery Hotel, the Waverly Inn, and Hotel El Roblar in Ojai, California. Beyond his work in the hospitality industry, Goode is the founder of the Turtle Conservancy, a nonprofit dedicated to the protection of turtles and their habitats. He also established Goode Films, an independent production company responsible for creating the hit Netflix documentary series *Tiger King* and the HBO documentary *Chimp Crazy*. Through his various endeavors, Goode has made a significant impact in entertainment, business, and environmental advocacy.
