Biography

Eric Jenkins is a retired long-distance runner known for his collegiate and professional achievements in track and field. He initially competed for Northeastern University before transferring to the University of Oregon, where he became a two-time NCAA Champion. Jenkins won the 3000 metres and 5000 metres at the 2015 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships. After turning professional in 2015, he joined the Nike Oregon Project under Nike's sponsorship. Jenkins retired from competitive running in 2023, concluding a career marked by notable success in distance events.
