Biography
Erik Bauersfeld was an American radio dramatist and voice actor, best known for his work on the radio station KPFA-FM over a span of more than 30 years. His most notable contribution to film was providing the voices for Admiral Ackbar and Bib Fortuna in *Return of the Jedi* (1983), the third installment of the original *Star Wars* trilogy. Bauersfeld later reprised his role as Admiral Ackbar in *Star Wars: The Force Awakens* (2015), continuing the character's legacy in the expanded saga.
