Biography

Erika Rose Alexander is an American actress, writer, producer, entrepreneur, and activist known for her work in television and film. She rose to prominence for her role as Pam Tucker on the NBC sitcom *The Cosby Show*, which aired from 1990 to 1992, and later as Maxine Shaw on the Fox sitcom *Living Single*, which ran from 1993 to 1998. For her performance in *Living Single*, Alexander won two NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series. She has also appeared in a range of films, including *The Long Walk Home* (1990), *Déjà Vu* (2006), *Get Out* (2017), *American Fiction* (2023), and *Earth Mama* (2023). For her role in *American Fiction*, she received a nomination for Best Supporting Performance at the Independent Spirit Awards.
