Biography

Eva Longoria is an American actress, producer, director, and businesswoman known for her work in television and film. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Gabrielle Solis on the ABC series *Desperate Housewives* (2004–2012), for which she received two Screen Actors Guild Awards and a Golden Globe nomination. Earlier, she appeared on the CBS daytime soap opera *The Young and the Restless* (2001–2003). Longoria has also appeared in several films, including *The Sentinel* (2006), *Over Her Dead Body* (2008), *For Greater Glory* (2012), *Frontera* (2014), *Lowriders* (2016), and *Overboard* (2018), for which she won an Imagen Award. In 2024, she guest-starred in the Hulu series *Only Murders in the Building*, earning her a third Screen Actors Guild Award.
