Biography

Ralph Everly Bushman (May 1, 1903 – April 16, 1978) was an American actor who appeared in fifty-five films from 1920 to 1943. In the early years of his film career, he was frequently credited as Francis X. Bushman Jr.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Francis X. Bushman, a prominent silent film star, and Josephine Fladung Duval. He died in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 74.

He was the maternal uncle of Pat Conway (1931–1981), who starred in the ABC western television series *Tombstone Territory* (1957–1960). Ralph was married to his wife, Beatrice, for 54 years at the time of his death.
