Biography

Fritz Feld was a German-American character actor whose career in film spanned over 72 years and included more than 140 appearances in both silent and sound films. He became known for his distinctive physical comedy, especially his signature move of slapping his mouth with the palm of his hand to produce a "pop" sound. Feld's long and prolific career made him a familiar presence in classic Hollywood cinema.
