    Biography

    Bowie Wu Fung is a Hong Kong veteran actor and director with family roots in Guangdong, China. He began his acting career in 1953 with long-form Cantonese films and achieved overnight success with his debut film, Men's Hearts. A matinée idol in the 1950s and 1960s, he starred opposite many of Hong Kong cinema's leading ladies, particularly Josephine Siao, with whom he collaborated in 1960s musicals. His dancing skills earned him the nickname "Dance King." In the 1970s, he transitioned to television and has since continued working as a contract artist for Hong Kong's TVB, making occasional guest appearances in films.
