Gana Bala, born Bala Murugan, is an Indian playback singer known for his contributions to Tamil cinema, particularly in the gaana genre. He gained recognition for his performances in the songs "Aadi Pona Aavani" and "Nadukadalula Kappala" from the film *Attakathi*. Widely credited with reviving the gaana genre in Tamil music after Deva's *Thenisai Thendral*, Gana Bala has become a leading figure in this style of music.
