Biography

Geneviève Robic Brunet is a retired Canadian road racing cyclist who competed prominently in the 1980s. She won the National Road Championship in 1984 and 1987, and also secured the National Criterium title in those same years. Brunet represented Canada at the 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympics, finishing 22nd in 1984 and 4th in 1988 in the Women's Individual Road Race. She trained in New Mexico and later Colorado, and was a resident of Pierrefonds, Quebec. Her cycling career was cut short due to a training accident from which she could not fully recover.
