Biography
George Armitage (1942–2025) was an American film director, screenwriter, and producer who began his career as part of a group of emerging filmmakers who entered the industry through Roger Corman's New World Pictures. He is best known for directing the films *Miami Blues* and *Grosse Pointe Blank*.
