Biography
George Mikell was a Lithuanian-Australian actor and writer known for his roles as Schutzstaffel (SS) officers in the films *The Guns of Navarone* (1961) and *The Great Escape* (1963). Over his career, he appeared in more than 30 British and American feature films. In addition to his film work, Mikell had numerous leading roles in theatre, showcasing his versatility as a performer.
