George Sluizer was born on 25 June 1932 in Paris, France. He worked as a director and producer, and is known for *The Vanishing* (1988), *La balsa de piedra* (2002), and *Dying to Go Home* (1996). He was married to Anne Sluizer. He died on 20 September 2014 in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands.
