Biography

Gérard Blanc (8 December 1947 – 24 January 2009) was a French singer, guitarist and actor. He began singing in the 1970s with the band Martin Circus, and in the 1980s he took part in the production of Princess Stephanie of Monaco’s first album before launching a solo career. Blanc placed four singles on the French charts, including “Du soleil dans la nuit,” which reached number 10, and the summer hit “Une Autre Histoire,” which peaked at number 2 in 1987. He performed at the Olympia on 20 March 2008.
