Biography

György Kárpáti was a Hungarian water polo player who competed in four consecutive Summer Olympics: 1952, 1956, 1960, and 1964. He is among the most decorated athletes in water polo history, having earned four or more Olympic medals. Kárpáti is one of only 13 male athletes to have won three Olympic gold medals in the sport.
