Biography

Hal Lindes is an American guitarist and film score composer. He is best known for his tenure as a member of the British rock band Dire Straits, joining the group in 1980 and remaining until late 1984. During his time with the band, Lindes contributed to their sound, adding his expertise as a session musician and guitarist. Outside of his work with Dire Straits, Lindes has pursued a career in composing music for film, establishing himself as a versatile and accomplished musician in both live performance and studio settings.
