Biography

Harry Leon Wilson was an American novelist and dramatist, best known for his works *Ruggles of Red Gap* and *Merton of the Movies*. His novel *Bunker Bean* played a significant role in popularizing the term "flapper" and was adapted into both a play and a film. Several of Wilson's other novels were also adapted for the screen, with some being filmed more than once, highlighting his influence on early 20th-century literature and cinema.
