Biography

Elliot Harvey Atkin was a Canadian actor who worked in film, television, and voice acting. He became known for his role as Morty Melnick in the comedy film *Meatballs* and as Sergeant Ronald Coleman in the television series *Cagney & Lacey*. Atkin also had an extensive voice acting career, voicing Sam in *The Adventures of Sam & Max: Freelance Police* and portraying King Koopa in all three DiC Entertainment Mario series: *The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!*, *The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3*, and *Super Mario World*.
