Biography

Henry McGee was a British actor best known for his long-standing role as the straight man to comedian Benny Hill. He frequently served as the announcer on *The Benny Hill Show*, delivering the show's upbeat introduction: "Yes! It's The Benny Hill Show!" In addition to his work on the show, McGee became a familiar face to British children in the 1970s through his role as "Mummy" in a series of Sugar Puffs cereal commercials. His catchphrase in the ads was "Tell them about the honey, Mummy," which became widely recognized. McGee's career was marked by his distinctive voice and presence in both television comedy and advertising.
