Biography

Henryk Bista was a Polish actor who appeared in over 110 films from 1961 to 1997. He is best known for his role in the 1977 film *Death of a President*, which was entered into the 28th Berlin International Film Festival and won the Silver Bear for an outstanding artistic contribution. Throughout his career, Bista received numerous accolades, including the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta in 1984, as well as the Gold and Silver Crosses of Merit and the Bronze Medal of Merit for National Defence in 1968.
