Biography
Herbert George Langley was an English opera singer and actor who was active in the early twentieth century. He began his career as a baritone in the opera world before transitioning to film, where he appeared in leading roles in several British silent films. As the film industry shifted to sound, his roles diminished in size. He is noted as the father of cinematographer Bryan Langley.
