Biography
Hudson Taylor is a film about James Hudson Taylor, a British Protestant missionary who spent fifty‑one years in China. Taylor founded the China Inland Mission (CIM) in 1865; by 1910 the organization employed more than eight hundred missionaries, operated over three hundred stations of work, and contributed to the conversion of more than twenty thousand Chinese to Christianity. The film depicts his commitment to spreading Christianity throughout all eighteen provinces of China and notes his involvement in education, including the establishment of one hundred twenty‑five schools and the employment of four hundred ninety‑nine local helpers.
